[image: joe walsh tweets: I’m a trump supporter. but if russia messed with our election to help hillary lose, I’d be pissed and I’d demand something be done about it.]
Good thing that didn’t happen then.
Unfortunately, our IC - along with independent third parties - disagree with you. Appointing officials with direct ties to Putin doesn’t help your case either. It’s starting to unravel.
Even if it’s just the hacking of emails. That someone is so partisan they don’t see the horror in a foreign power using hacking as a political weapon. Because next time it could be against your side.

“This was based on evidence and data that traced Russian hackers who handed off material to Russian operatives known to the CIA, who in turn handed the material over to WikiLeaks. There it was weaponized to damaged Hillary Clinton and boost Trump.”
> “Trump’s transition team immediately shot back at the CIA.”

“Retired CIA leadership has been pushing back hard against Trump’s dismissal of their analysis.”
Conclusion: “Trump Attacks CIA, Defends Russia Following Intelligence Report” and “Trump’s rhetoric virtually confirms the worst fears that he is an agent of a rival state, that his inauguration would effectively signal a foreign occupation of the American government.”
Solution: “It is the obligation of the Electoral College to block a foreign power from raising its own agent to the American presidency.”
This is some real Mickey Mouse stuff. So, because there is an alleged connection that blames Russia for helping to expose Hillary’s emails and because Trump doubts the veracity of this theory, that means that Trump is “attacking” the CIA and “defending” Russia and therefore he is an agent of Russia and the Electors must vote for Hillary. Am I getting this all right?
Oh, and I enjoyed how they stated “Trump is reportedly only attending one intelligence briefing a week.” Yeah, he’s not even in office yet.
You know why they created these briefings? Truman had no clue about the Manhattan Project going in. Maybe if he wants to at least act a little professional, he should get at least a little prepared.
The delicious coincidence was today he appointed his second Putin stooge as SoS - who was also CEO of Exxon.
CIA
found Russia interfered in the elections with goal of seeing Trump
elected, according to officials who spoke anonymously with the
Washington Post
Body of evidence was presented to senators during secret meeting last week
Previous assessments said Russia simply wanted to undermine US democracy
Those
who provided Wikileaks with hacked emails from Democrats have links to
Russian government, although there’s no intelligence of Kremlin
orchestration
President Obama has also pushed for a ‘full review’ of the hacking
Democratic
National Committee and Clinton campaign chair John Podesta both got
hacked during the elections, with sensitive emails posted on WikiLeaks
Trump’s
transition team likened intelligence agencies to ‘the same people that
said Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction’
The
CIA found that Russia’s interference with the presidential elections
went beyond an attempt to undermine American democracy as a whole - and
actively favored Donald Trump’s chances, it has been claimed.
Those
who provided WikiLeaks with emails from hacked Democratic accounts have
been identified by intelligence authorities as members of a Russian
campaign who worked towards the goal of seeing Trump elected, officials
told the Washington Post.
The
shocking conclusion, made by a ‘consensus’ of intelligence agencies,
was reported the same day President Barack Obama ordered a review of
cyber attacks that targeted Democratic organizations and operatives
during the 2016 elections.
But
Trump’s transition team shot down the findings, issuing a statement
that read: ‘These are the same people that said Saddam Hussein had
weapons of mass destruction.’
***Well this took longer for them to start talking about than I thought it would, but I mentioned multiple times this was going to happen.
Funny, Omama said over and over that Trump needed to stop talking about a “Rigged” election. Thing is, if they knew that Russia was hacking the DNC, and election, why didn’t they do something about it months ago? Why don’t they worry about illegal aliens voting?
And the Washington Post as a source? Really? The king of the FAKE News??
That last line, tho’….Absolutely. Not long ago, read stories of how it was a “counter-coup” of leaks BY intelligence agents from several different agencies in order to expose the extreme corruption that they said was destroying the country. (although do not recall source sites, am sure they were alternative rather than “mainstream.”)
WaPo has lost even the last bit of credibility since reading their writers who were part of the election-influencing group called Journolist (reportedly still active, under different name.)
Jessica Valenti. That fucking name. Wasn’t she the same fucking scumbag who attacked the scientist because of his shirt?
Yeah. She was involved. Man lands probe on asteroid, but the liberals hate him because he had girls on his shirt.
That’s a lot of nice deflection there - might as well just start shouting “lügenpresse”.
That the CIA thinks this is not in dispute. Trump’s response reflects that. Although maybe he wouldn’t have such a naive, hypocritical response if he attended security briefings once in a while. Your man is a shill and you’ve been played.
Anonymous asked: Obama brought unemployment to a 9 year low, got marriage equality legal, saved a suffering economy, passed healthcare reforms that insured millions and saved lives, killed Osama Bin Laden, brewed beer in the White House, and didn't start a nuclear war. All the while being blocked continuously by republicans in congress which all took oaths to obstruct everything he would do. That's why we will miss him.
Something happening while Obama is in office does not automatically mean it is his achievement. And half of these things aren’t great Presidential achievements anyway.
Obama brought unemployment to a 9 year low. Saved a suffering economy.
First off, Obama did not save a suffering economy. He came into office when the U.S. was in what is commonly known as “the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression”. Considering that he came in when the economy was low, his success was low. At that time, any improvement at all, no matter how small, would seem much larger. Under Obama, the economy grew at a rate of 1.6%, which really isn’t that much. It’s pretty average. It’s even less than the economy grew when Bush first took office and he came in at an economic high.
And despite the low unemployment rate, poverty rate have remained the same or gotten higher, especially for black americans and the quality of life has decreased and millions more people are on welfare instead of working. That is not what I call a good economy.
Got marriage equality legal
Um, no he didn’t. The Supreme Court did which Obama had nothing to do with.
Passed healthcare reforms that insured millions and saved lives
Yeah, Obamacare sucks which is another thing I mentioned in the response I wrote which I assume is what you’re responding to and I’m now starting to doubt you even read it all the way through. People have lost their healthcare because of Obamacare, were not able to keep their doctors because of Obamacare, it increased the cost of healthcare and it only insured millions because it basically punished people who didn’t have healthcare, it took money out of medicaid and took away people’s option to purchase whatever healthcare they wanted. Obamacare was disaster and should be repealed.
Killed Osama Bin Laden
I already addressed this point in the post I’m now sure you didn’t bother to read. Obama did not kill Osama Bin Laden. It was not his achievement. The Navy Seals killed Bin Laden in a mission that was started by Bush and the most Obama can be credited for with that is not ending it. Just because they completed their mission when Obama was in office does not mean it was Obama’s achievement. As I said before, if 9/11 had happened under Obama, we would have been screwed.
There are lots of Presidents who didn’t start a nuclear war. But if you want to talk about things Obama didn’t do, I’ve got a lot to add that list. Most of them are things he should have done.
All the while being blocked continuously by republicans in congress which all took oaths to obstruct everything he would do. That’s why we will miss him.
Of course. It wouldn’t be a true attempt at defending Obama if you didn’t blame Republicans somewhere. I’m glad there were Republicans making sure he didn’t screw up the country. It must be easy to pretend your President was amazing if you can just blame all his non-achievements and the fact he barely did anything on Republicans.
Blocking a nomination who had cancer so they died before they could get their position, just to cause personal harm to Obama. Blocking a SC nomination for a year and a half. Just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Republican obstructionism. I’m sure they’ll be shocked - shocked! - when the Dems do the same to them. You perfect the book on obstructionism, it comes back to bite you.
Obama has done pretty well. Perfect? No way - he could have done better. Namely his mistake was thinking there was any possible way Republicans would work with him. Luckily the country agrees as he has record high approval ratings not only for his administration but for a leaving President.
